An opportunity has arisen for a part-qualified Practice Accountant to join the team on a 3-month temporary contract. This varied role will involve supporting the practice with accounts preparation, VAT reviews, VAT returns and assisting with a large Xero to Sage migration project. It's an excellent opportunity for someone with practice experience who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.

• Reviewing accounts prepared by other team members.
• Reviewing and preparing VAT returns.
• Preparing statutory accounts and working papers.
• Assisting with general accounts preparation for a varied client portfolio.
• Supporting a major client Xero to Sage migration project, including data migration and reconciliations.
• Providing ad hoc support to the wider practice team as required.

• Part-qualified ACCA or ACA (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and VAT returns.
• Knowledge of Xero and Sage accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• 3-month temporary contract
• £40k – £50kFTE, depending on experience
• Immediate start preferred
