Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, with occasional evening and weekend commitments
The College of St George, Windsor Castle, is seeking an outstanding administrator to join its Chapter Office as Assistant to the Chapter Clerk.
Founded by King Edward III in 1348, the College of St George is a Royal Peculiar and the spiritual home of the Most Noble Order of the Garter. Situated within Windsor Castle, the College encompasses St George's Chapel, St George's House, the Archives and Library, and the Military Knights of Windsor, welcoming more than one million visitors each year.

The RoleWorking within the Chapter Office, you will provide comprehensive administrative, organisational and operational support to the Chapter Clerk.
The Chapter Office plays a central role in the governance and daily life of the College, coordinating major events, supporting governance processes and helping deliver significant royal, national, civic and ecclesiastical occasions.
The role requires a highly organised individual with excellent judgement, discretion and interpersonal skills who can confidently manage competing priorities and build effective relationships across the College and wider Windsor Castle community.

- The confidence to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Flexibility and a willingness to support occasional events outside normal office hours.
Experience supporting senior leaders, governance bodies, recruitment processes or event management would be advantageous, as would experience within a heritage, charitable, educational or ecclesiastical setting.
Whilst there is no requirement to be a practising Christian, applicants should have an appreciation of and respect for the religious, ceremonial and historic life of the College.
Please note that the successful candidate will be require to undergoing a DBS check and security clearance.
