Science Technician

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Science Technician to join our Windsor College team on a permanent term‑time only basis. Salary ranges between G16 £ 21,097.25 and G19 £ 23,448.78 (£24,098 - £26,784 FTE), dependent on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality technical support to the science department, ensuring a safe, effective, and well‑resourced learning environment for students and teaching staff.
  • Prepare materials and equipment for practical lessons, maintain laboratories, and support the delivery of engaging and successful science practicals.
  • Set up and clear down laboratories, maintain stock levels, and carry out routine checks and maintenance of equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and support teaching staff during practical sessions where required.
