Mental Health Mentor – Specialist School (Windsor)
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Mentor to support KS1‑KS4 students who have been excluded from mainstream education or are in transition. The role involves 1:1 mentoring, teaching and support for young people with mental health challenges, SEN and behavioural difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualised mentoring and teaching to pupils with SEN, challenging behaviour and mental health issues.
- Collaborate with therapists, psychologists and other professionals to support each student’s progress.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and facilitate positive changes in behaviour and learning.
- Graduation degree graded 2:2 or above (preferably Psychology, Criminology).
- Experience as a teaching assistant or youth worker with SEN or challenging behaviour.
- Knowledge of mental health, trauma and restraint training desirable.
- 1‑year contract with the possibility of renewal.
- Salary £90‑£110 per day, payable weekly.
- Location:
Windsor, UK. - Immediate start (ASAP).
