Job description The main purpose of the role includes installing and maintaining a control network along the Construction Traffic Routes, assisting with Mobile Mapping Surveys, undertaking as-built surveys and setting out of utilities.

You will also be expected to carry out site surveying tasks with the wider Project teams as workload allows. Main Duties Install and maintain survey control networks along the Construction Traffic Routes. Carrying out topographic, 2D and 3D surveys for highways, drainage and structures. Weekly drone surveys. Using modern survey equipment including GNSS, robotic total stations and LiDAR scanning to capture data.

Processing survey data in TBC/LSS and producing accurate drawings and 3D models. Required profile L3 Geospatial Qualification, Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related geospatial field. Experience in a similar surveying role. Member of CICES or RICS is highly desirable. Valid CSCS card (Manager level preferred) and a full UK Driving Licence. Skills and Experience Experience in Highways works.

Experience in TBC software or similar software package to process data and analyse the results. Advanced user of AutoCAD, Excel, and 3D processing software. Knowledge of modern geospatial hardware (Robotic Total Stations, GNSS, Laser Scanners, UAV9s) and their associated processing workflows. Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
