Team Leader - Extra Care

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Care/Support Worker to join as a Team Leader at Radis Community Care’s Extra Care Scheme – Hynd Brook House, Accrington.

• Competitive salary based on a 37‑hour contract.
• Wide range of people we support, including the elderly and individuals with physical and/or learning disabilities.
• Tailored care plans to meet each client’s needs – from brief daily visits to 24‑hour live‑in care.
• Short and long‑term care options available.

• Conduct supervisions, meetings, and provide support to the Support Workers.
• Schedule and allocate work to ensure personalised care/support for each client.
• Assist with medication and personal care tasks.
• Offer support within the community.

• Previous experience as a Team Leader is advantageous but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is required, with a desire to progress to Level 3.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to meet the needs of the people we support.
• Minimum of 28 days annual leave for full‑time contracts.
