Speech and Language Therapist

Windsor, Berkshire
Salary: £43,242 - £51,209 (inclusive of paid school holidays) | Full-Time

About the School

We are an independent specialist day school based in Windsor, providing high-quality education for pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviours. We are part of a leading specialist provider of education and care for children and young people with SEND, with a strong reputation for outstanding clinical and educational outcomes.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. You'll play a central role in our joined-up approach to SEND, working directly with pupils who present with a range of needs including developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental conditions, and complex communication difficulties.

You'll deliver clinically informed interventions, work closely with educational and residential colleagues, and help shape therapeutic living and learning environments that give our young people the best possible chance to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out clinical assessments and develop individualized therapy programmes for pupils
  • Deliver targeted speech, language, and communication interventions — both 1:1 and in groups
  • Collaborate with the wider MDT, embedding therapeutic approaches across the school
  • Support and train staff teams to ensure clinically informed environments and experiences
  • Contribute to annual reviews, EHC plan processes, and MDT meetings
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with HCPC and RCSLT standards
About You
  • Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with current HCPC registration
  • Proven experience delivering therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs
  • Experience supporting teams around a child to ensure consistent, clinically informed practice
  • Confident communicator and effective trainer, able to guide and influence colleagues
  • Highly organized, proactive, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people
What We Offer
  • Salary of £43,242 - £51,209, inclusive of full paid school holidays and bank holidays
  • A comprehensive induction and ongoing on-the-job training
  • A structured clinical development programme with real progression opportunities
  • Access to a large multidisciplinary clinical team for peer support and supervision
  • Flexible benefits package including life insurance options
  • Wellbeing support and employee assistance programme
  • Medical cover for everyday health costs (opticians, dentist, etc.)
  • High‑street and retail discounts
  • £1,000 refer‑a‑friend bonus scheme
  • Beautiful, well‑resourced working environments
