-attending medical appointments Purpose of the Job:
To deliver high quality professional care whilst supporting the individual in all aspects of his daily routine. Meal prep, shopping and light domestic duties to look after the accommodation, engaging with and stimulating social interaction, arranging day trips, stock control, personal care, safe guarding, driving, are all duties within this role. As written by the client: I am studying History at Manchester University.
I have decided to live independently in an anexe on my families home. I travel into Uni each day or as my course dictates with a member of my support team. I have cerebral palsy which affects all four limbs. I use a powered wheelchair with an attendant control. I have a good sense of humour and love films and music, all genres.
I enjoy watching gaming and like to play myself with assistance. I have been trying out switch control system. I have a small dog, who likes to be with me occasionally whilst I am at home and I would need help to walk him on an occasion. This is a busy role but there is also room for some down time each day.
I am looking for someone who would find this role rewarding and enjoyable but also someone with an interest to help me develop my independence further. About You :

-Able to use email, word. Familiar with Alexa, Switch controls -( desirable) - Experience in professional care (desired not essential) - Full UK drivers licence (essential) - Non-smoker. DBS Check and references will be required upon successful application
