Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech & Language Therapist to join an independent specialist day school in Windsor, supporting both primary and secondary pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviours.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team embedded within a therapeutic learning environment. You will play a vital role in assessing, formulating, and delivering tailored interventions to help children and young people thrive both educationally and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialist speech and language therapy to children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions, developmental trauma, and SEN.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and contribute to personalised care plans.
  • Provide therapeutic input within both educational and residential settings.
  • Offer guidance and training to staff to ensure clinically informed environments.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to teams and families.
  • Work collaboratively with a large network of clinical professionals.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
  • Have experience delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex needs.
  • Be confident in supporting teams around the child to create therapeutic environments.
  • Be an effective communicator, trainer, and clinical role model.
  • Be highly organised and proactive.
  • Be committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
