Our Audiology Department provides a comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitation service for both adults and children. This role offers the opportunity to work with a varied caseload, including patients with complex needs, and to play a key role in delivering specialist paediatric assessments. You will work closely with ENT and multidisciplinary colleagues, to provide the highest standard of personalised, evidence-based care.

The successful candidate will hold a BSc/MSc in Audiology (or equivalent), be HCPC or AHCS registered (or eligible), and have significant post-qualification experience, including expertise in paediatric diagnostic audiology and managing complex cases.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced senior Healthcare Science Practitioner with either a Clinical Scientist or an AHCS-registered practitioner with a BSc or MSc in Audiology or equivalent, or BAAT Parts I and II and relevant post-qual experience.

This role has a focus on paediatric audiology, and we are seeking someone who is qualified and experienced in paediatric assessment and rehabilitation, while also contributing to the assessment and management of adult patients. You will support children, young people and their families throughout their hearing healthcare journey and work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to achieve the best outcomes.

You will lead Visual Reinforcement Audiometry clinics for children under three years of age, undertake newborn hearing follow-up assessments using Auditory Brainstem Response (A ) testing, and provide paediatric rehabilitation services for children and young people with hearing loss.

We recognise that candidates may not have recent experience across every specialist area of practice. Where required, we will provide support, training and development opportunities to help establish competencies and broaden clinical skills.

This role will suit an STP graduate or someone who has completed relevant Higher Training Scheme modules, reflecting the complex and varied nature. You will communicate calmly, compassionately and effectively, ensuring service users and their families feel valued, heard and understood.

We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Audiologist/Clinical Scientist with an interest in paediatric audiology to join our friendly and established team of healthcare scientists. Based primarily in Windsor, you will also provide care at services across East Berkshire, including Slough, Maidenhead and Bracknell.

  • 1. BSc/MSc in Audiology or equivalent, or BAAT I and II
