Working Pattern:
Full-time (3 days per week in the office)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to join my client who are a leading brand within the FMCG industry on a full-time, fixed-term basis. This role will be responsible for delivering effective HR operations, employee relations support, payroll oversight, and strategic HR partnering to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations
  • Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure HR processes are efficient, compliant, and consistently applied
Employee Relations (ER)
  • Manage employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and absence
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on ER matters
  • Support investigations and ensure fair, timely, and legally compliant outcomes
Payroll
  • Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Act as the key point of contact between HR, Finance, and payroll providers
  • Resolve payroll queries and support payroll audits as required
HR Projects
  • Lead and contribute to HR projects such as process improvement, policy implementation, system enhancements, and organisational change
  • Manage project plans, timelines, and stakeholders
HR Business Partnering
  • Partner with senior leaders and line managers to provide pragmatic, commercial HR advice
  • Support workforce planning, organisational change, and people initiatives
  • Build strong relationships to support business performance
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in an HR Operations Manager or similar role
  • Strong employee relations expertise
  • Solid payroll knowledge and experience working with payroll providers
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
