SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Supply Planner to join our growing supply chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a planning professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys working across suppliers, manufacturing, demand planning, and inventory management. The successful candidate will play a key role within the S&OP process, ensuring the business maintains the correct inventory levels to support customer demand while balancing stock investment, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain supply plans in line with customer demand forecasts and business requirements
- Play a key role in the S&OP process, providing accurate supply and inventory insights
- Work closely with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure supply plans are aligned to business needs
- Manage inventory levels to ensure optimum stock availability while minimising excess and obsolete stock
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring service, quality, and delivery expectations are achieved
- Monitor supplier performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions where required
- Lead supplier review meetings and performance discussions
- Identify potential supply chain constraints and develop contingency plans to minimise disruption
- Analyse inventory, forecast accuracy, and supplier performance data to drive continuous improvement
- Support business growth by ensuring supply chain capability can meet future demand requirements
- Previous experience in a Supply Planner, Supply Chain Planner or Inventory Planner
- Strong understanding of S&OP and integrated business planning processes
- Experience working closely with suppliers and manufacturing operations
- Proven ability to manage inventory levels and stock optimisation strategies
- Experience managing supplier performance and service‑related issues
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work effectively within a fast‑paced and changing environment
