Shift Pattern:
Rolling shift pattern that provides Facilities coverage across both the park and hotels, seven days a week. The shifts are typically:
Early (E): 7:00am – 6:00pm and Late (L): 10:00am – 9:00pm
The Facilities Maintenance Technician Level 1, is an entry level role. The team member would ideally have knowledge & skills that are relevant to the tasks. Theymay have qualifications or just have valuable experience in a maintenance
environment.
All Technician roles exist to ensure that safe and efficient park and hotels operation. They have complete hands‑on role in the department which directly affects guest satisfaction with their actions, in terms of quality, safety and efficiency. The Facilities Maintenance Technician carries out all building maintenance related work around the resort including its two hotels, Adventure Golf and New Woodland Village. This will include reactive works, planned preventative maintenance, project work and modifications to existing installations.
They will carryout a multitude of tasks including daily checks of play structures and usestheir own initiative when problem solving.
- The primarily responsibility of the role is to ensure that the safest possible environment exists for themselves, the team, contractors, visitors, and guests in the park. The jobholder is responsible for ensuring any tools or machinery used around the park arealways kept safe and in sight, with the honest belief that "nothing is safe enough".
- The Facilities Maintenance Technician Level 1 will generally be paired up with a higher-level Technician while they are learning the role, they will be there to assist and learnthe different aspects of the business.
- Responding to reactive maintenance situations and carrying out the required corrective action. This can be in several situations such as, unit failure, building works, plumbing, catering equipment, electrical failures etc. They will carry out PPM’s (Planned Preventative Maintenance) this will be Weekly/Monthly/Annually duties but not limited to Q-Line checks, softener checking,meter readings, filter cleans, hotel room checks and furniture checks.
- The technician will also be trained to carry out daily inspections on all play areas making sure they are safe for daily use.

Qualifications: - Full right to work in the UK
- Must hold a valid driving licence
- A part of the job holder duties are to ensure that all paperwork is completed correctly,as a lot of building maintenance related documents are statutory requirements.
- The main part of the role is using the asset management system (Infor) in which
Departments or individuals ask for work to be completed, the work gets planned in bythe Facilities Managers and then given to the Technician, with a time for completion. - The candidate would ideally prioritize and plan their own work, once they have some experience of working on site as certain time scales must be achieved.
- As a Level 1, Knowledge of a Facilities Maintenance or Construction environment would be an advantage but not essential.
- As this is an entry level role there would be opportunities to gain experience,knowledge and Qualifications when appropriate, including a trade apprenticeship ifcorrect requirements are met.
