Account Manager Engineering / Manufacturing

From £35,000 - £40,000 Bonus Scheme.

We are working with a well‑established and growing engineering manufacturing business seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their commercial team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a customer‑facing role within a technical environment, where you will play a key part in managing client relationships, coordinating orders, and driving account growth.

You will take ownership of a portfolio of customer accounts, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring a high level of service throughout the full order lifecycle.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing day‑to‑day communication with customers and acting as their internal representative
• Coordinating orders from placement through to delivery, working closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams
• Monitoring schedules, resolving issues, and ensuring on‑time delivery
• Supporting commercial activities including quotations, cost tracking, and margin awareness
• Preparing and presenting customer performance data and KPIs
• Building strong, long‑term relationships to support account growth and customer satisfaction
• Collaborating cross‑functionally to support new projects and continuous improvement initiatives

• Experience in account management or customer‑facing roles within manufacturing or engineering
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of revenue and margin
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and handling complex order processes
• Ideally some exposure to electronics, electro‑mechanical, or technical products

• Salary from £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)
