Salary:
Up to £41,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Overview

Circle Health Group invites applications for a Senior Registered Nurse to join our Outpatients department. This full‑time role requires covering a flexible shift pattern and delivering high‑quality nursing care to complex patients.

Duties Of This Role Include
  • Deliver high‑quality nursing care and lead on the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for complex patients.
  • Use advanced clinical knowledge to make timely and appropriate decisions, escalating where necessary.
  • Administer medication safely and monitor patient response, ensuring adherence to NMC and local protocols.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately, ensuring safe and effective workload management across the shift.
  • Uphold a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with infection prevention, safeguarding, medicines management, and risk reporting procedures.
  • Act as a key contact for patients and their families, offering clinical updates, reassurance, and information to support shared decision‑making.
  • Liaise effectively with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure smooth transitions between services.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
  • Registered Nurse (Adult) with active NMC registration.
  • Significant post‑registration experience in an acute or relevant clinical setting.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support a nursing team.
  • Strong clinical decision‑making, problem‑solving, and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient‑focused approach.
  • Confidence in working independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Previous experience in a senior or supervisory nursing role desirable.
  • Requires ophthalmology and cardiology services knowledge and skills.
