The Arborist is a full-time, on-site role based in Windsor, responsible for the care, maintenance, and management of trees across a variety of landscapes. Day-to-day tasks include tree inspection and identification, pruning, felling, crown reduction, and implementing appropriate arboricultural techniques to ensure tree health and safety. The role involves operating and maintaining chainsaws and other equipment, supporting planting and habitat enhancement projects, and working within safety and environmental regulations.

The Arborist will collaborate with colleagues and clients, complete accurate site records and reports, and contribute to high-quality delivery of both rural and urban tree works.

• Strong knowledge of arboriculture, including practical experience working with trees and woodland environments.
• Ability to identify tree species and assess tree health using Tree Identification skills and related diagnostic techniques.
• Professional credentials such as Certified Arborist status or equivalent arboricultural qualification are highly desirable.
• Experience in Forestry operations, including safe use of chainsaws, climbing equipment, and other tools used in tree management.
• Understanding of relevant health and safety standards, including working at height and safe worksite practices.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and collaborate on site-based projects.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally between sites as required.
