Introduction

Our apprenticeship gives people of all ages a chance to start an exciting career, while earning a full-time wage. Duties include booking customers in for eye tests, pre‑screening, recommending suitable frames. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about providing great customer service and would like to pursue a career in optics.

You will find us in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Spain, Australia and New Zealand, employing over 38,000 people who work across our 2,293 stores, as well as in our support offices and throughout the supply chain.

• Deliver top‑notch customer advice and a warm welcome to the store.
• Book eye tests for customers.
• Pre‑screen patients and measure frames.
• Ensure smooth operation by spotting and addressing minor problems.

Upon completion of the apprenticeship you will be a fully qualified Level 3 Optical Assistant, opening a wide range of career options.
