• Offer genuinely friendly, helpful customer service to shoppers and their pets.
• Help customers find what they need and suggest additional items that improve their pet wellbeing.
• Share advice to promote responsible pet ownership; you will learn about different pets as part of the role.
• Keep the store tidy, stocked, and looking its best.
• Be part of a supportive, upbeat team that works together.
• Be available for reasonable adjustments if required for carrying out duties.
• Upsell suitable products to enhance the customer experience, without pressuring anyone.
• Suggest the right treats, toys, food or accessories that genuinely help a pet live its best life.
• Receive an induction with full training to build confidence, product knowledge, and pet care understanding through a mix of on-the-job training and online learning.
• Act as a friendly, knowledgeable guide for pet parents, not a pushy salesperson.

• Great with pets and people, with a fun, friendly personality.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on retail environment and can achieve individual goals and team targets.
• Experience in a similar customer-facing environment is preferred; a hands-on approach is valued.

• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, to cover peak store hours across seven days.
• Part-time, temporary position up to 9 months (maternity) – around 10 hours per week.

• Pay rate of £8.43 – £12.71 per hour, with bonus potential up to £1,000 per year (terms apply).
