As a Kitchen Sales Designer, you will be responsible for designing, pricing, and selling kitchens while building long-term relationships with our trade customers and homeowners. You will contribute directly to the depot's sales growth, customer satisfaction, and overall performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and sell kitchens tailored to customer needs using Howdens' design software
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trade customers and homeowners
- Manage enquiries from initial consultation through to order completion
- Drive sales performance and contribute to depot turnover and targets
- Work closely with depot colleagues to ensure accuracy, availability, and timely delivery
- Maintain high standards of customer service and product knowledge
- Experience in kitchen design, sales, or a customer-facing sales role (preferred)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, target-driven mindset with attention to detail
- Confidence using design software and managing multiple projects
- A team player who is motivated to contribute to depot growth and success

As a Kitchen Sales Designer, you will support our Trade customers, by turning their clients'dream kitchens into a reality. Meeting end users in their homesyou will listen to their vision, seek to clearly understand their needs, and offer your expert advice. You will thenplananddesigninspirationalkitchensthat exceed their expectations for both design and utility.
You will have the confidence to negotiate with our Trade customers, whilst promoting and protecting the integrity and value of the design and the quality of our products.
Skills and attributes you need to be a successful Kitchen Sales Designer:
- Customer service
- Thrives in fast-paced environments
- An eye for design
- Previous sales experience
- Prioritisation and organisation skills
- Curious learner
- Results driven
- Full UK Driving license
- Access to your own vehicle
- Previous design (CAD) experience is preferred, but not essential
