About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Resettlement Worker to join our team. This is an exciting new role designed to support individuals and families as they transition into new accommodation and communities. You will play a key part in promoting independence, stability, and wellbeing for clients as they rebuild their lives.

The role will involve working within office hours, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays), with flexibility to meet client needs when required.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide practical and emotional support to clients during their resettlement process

* Help clients access and maintain suitable accommodation

* Work collaboratively with statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure effective service delivery

* Develop personalised support plans based on individual needs and goals

* Support clients in developing life skills including budgeting, tenancy management, and accessing employment or education

* Maintain accurate and timely records in line with organisational procedures

About You

We are seeking someone who is empathetic, organised, and proactive, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You should be committed to promoting equality, dignity, and empowerment for all clients.

Essential skills and qualities include:

* Experience working with vulnerable individuals or those facing homelessness/resettlement

* Strong interpersonal and advocacy skills

* Ability to manage a caseload and prioritise workload effectively

* Understanding of housing and welfare systems

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
