Position:
Residential Worker – Approved Premises, Manor Lodge Approved Premises, Windsor. Locations:
East of England, South Central, South East, South West.

Work pattern:
Annualised hours of 625 or 1,250 per year (equivalent to one or two 12‑hour shifts each week). Shifts include standard and unsocial hours across a 24‑hour period, 7 days a week. Unsocial hours receive premium pay. Availability to cover day and night shifts 24/7 is required.
You will support the management of offenders transitioning from custody to the community. Core duties include:
- Supervising mandates and ensuring approved‑premises residents remain in safe, secure, and effective housing.
- Conducting inspections, monitoring behaviour, and ensuring residents comply with licence conditions.
- Engaging positively with residents to maintain their well‑being and safety.
- Working closely with colleagues and partner agencies.
The role is based at a single approved premises with potential to cover additional sites if required.
Working pattern & payment- Monday – Friday: 7 pm to 8 am (30 % premium)
- Public/Bank Holidays: 8 am to 8 am (50 % premium); time‑off in lieu for actual hours worked is applicable.
Residents earn the advertised annual salary plus unsocial hour premium.
Qualifications & skills• No degree required.
• Experience working with people with social or personal difficulties.
• Personal qualities: empathy, patience, resilience.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills for report writing.

Legal & Eligibility• Skilled Worker visa:
This role is not eligible for a new Skilled Worker visa after 22‑July‑2025.
• Nationality: open to UK nationals, Republic of Ireland nationals, Commonwealth and EU nationals with settlement status, Turkish nationals with work rights, and others meeting EUSS criteria.
• Security clearance: DBS Standard.
Working ArrangementsThis role is based in the UK and does not qualify for hybrid working. Shift pattern is fixed as described above.
