Previous experience working within freight forwarding or logistics
Experience working in import or export operations

Experience with air freight, road freight or sea freight
Good knowledge of the freight forwarding process and documentation
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent attention to detail   Freight Forwarding Operator - Responsibilities  
 
Coordinate and manage import and/or export shipments from start to finish
Arrange bookings with airlines, shipping lines, hauliers, and other transport providers
Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation
Monitor shipments and provide customers with regular updates
Liaise with overseas agents, customers, suppliers, carriers, and internal teams
Ensure shipments are delivered within agreed timescales
Track and resolve any operational issues or delays
Ensure all shipment information is accurately entered into internal systems
Assist with customs clearance an compliance requirements where required
Obtain and check freight rates and liaise with suppliers
Maintain strong relationships with customers and service providers
Ensure all shipments are handled in accordance with company procedures and industry regulations  About Us
