Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager job at Express Pros - Madison. Windsor, WI.
Currently have an immediate needs with a top local company for an EHS Manager! Our client manufactures plastic items including water tank liners, water jugs, cat litter boxes. Your role will include maintaining local, state, and federal compliance, conducting audits and facility inspections, train staff on safety procedures, and manager the Workers Compensation Program. As the EHS Manager for this company, you will be the point of contact for the plant with all safety related issues and questions.

Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:15pm

$85-110K + monthly and annual bonuses

• Maintain local, state, and federal compliance (OSHA, DOT, DNR, EPA, DHS, and State of Wisconsin) for required written safety programs, training, audits, and documentation.
• Coordinate Safety Committee for overall effectiveness.
• Conduct and coordinate facility inspections, audits work practices, and ensure that corrective action is initiated
• Conduct the safety training for new hire orientation
• Trains, counsels, and advise staff on all safety issues as necessary
• Manage Workers Compensation Program

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Risk Management, or equivalent work experience
• Working knowledge of safety codes, OSHA, EPA DOT, DHS, and State of Wisconsin health regulations
• Working or advanced knowledge or experience in workers compensation
• 5-7 years of safety experience in a manufacturing setting
