Join North Mississippi Health Services to provide high-quality, cost‑efficient diagnostic radiology services to patients and the department. The Radiology Technologist ensures timely care, maintains equipment, assists physicians, and delivers excellent customer service.

• Perform high‑quality, cost‑efficient diagnostic procedures for patients.
• Provide radiology services in a timely manner.
• Organize workflow to prevent delays.
• Assist physicians and other medical staff during procedures as requested.
• Deliver excellent customer service accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, staff, and NMMC members.
• Attend required in‑services, annual reviews, and educational programs.
• Stay knowledgeable about procedures, positions, supplies, and equipment used in radiological examinations.
• Stay current with changes in radiology.
• Serve diverse patient populations: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Adhere to NMHS/NMMC policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Comply with applicable local, state, federal policies, procedures, guidelines, regulations, and laws.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Associate’s Degree graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program (required).

• ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist
• CPR – Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation

• Strong knowledge of radiographic anatomy.
• Continuously update skills through classes and continuing education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required).
• Assist in supervising student technologists during examinations.
• Assist fellow technologists to ensure high‑quality patient care.
• Strong teamwork capabilities.
• Adaptability to emergency situations.
• Ability to make win/win decisions.
• Professional and ethical conduct at all times.
• Detail oriented.
• Extensive contact with physicians, co‑workers, patients, and families.
