American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring prior travel experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

• Med/Surg unit in a 49-bed hospital facility
• Patient ratio of 1:6-7
• 12-hour night shift (7p-7a), 36 hours per week with a 7-on/7-off schedule option
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• Floating required to units within competencies
• No on-call requirements
• No block or self-scheduling available

• Active RN license (AL or Compact) required on file at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a pre-assignment Basic and Advanced Dysrhythmia (rhythm strip) test with a minimum score of 80%
• Full date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

• Scrub color provided upon start
• Fingerprinting process must begin within 48 hours of offer acceptance
• Complete availability and scheduling flexibility required
• Compliance documents due 7 days before start date
• Covid vaccine and flu shot not required; mask must be worn if declined, except during mealtimes
• Candidates must not have worked perm or per diem at this facility within the last 12 months
• Local candidates accepted
• Eligible for local rate within 50 miles or radius-based rate
