American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring prior travel experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

• Med/Surg unit in a 49-bed hospital facility
• Patient ratio of 1:6-7
• 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• Floating required to units within competencies
• No on-call requirements
• No block or self-scheduling available

• Active AL or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a pre-assignment Basic and Advanced Dysrhythmia (rhythm strip) test with a minimum score of 80%
• Full date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit
• Scrub color provided upon arrival
• Fingerprinting process must begin within 48 hours of offer acceptance
• Candidates must not have worked perm or per diem at this health system within the last 12 months
• COVID and flu vaccinations are not required; a mask must be worn at all times except during mealtimes if declined
• Candidates must maintain complete availability and scheduling flexibility
• All compliance documents due 7 days before the start date
• Local candidates accepted
• Radius rate applies based on distance from facility
