Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring BSN, IL RN licensure, and telemetry experience.

• Active Illinois RN license in hand required; emergency or pending licenses not accepted
• BSN required
• BLS certification through AHA required
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Minimum 1 year of direct experience required
• 2 years of charge nurse experience required
• Skills checklist and 2 references required, with one reference from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge RN within the last year
• All employment history with Northwestern Medicine or acquired facilities must be disclosed if applicable

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Telemetry work setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend work required
• No on-call requirements
• 30-minute meal break
• Required to float to 9 BT units plus overflow areas
• May be required to float between facilities within the health system if requested by the unit manager
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront and cannot be added after submission
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• First-time travelers may be considered
