Summary ofJob Duties
- Review production sheets to determine products scheduled for production and assigned machines, identifying proper mold, tooling, and components needed.
- Prepare for changes in the production schedule, pulling all materials (molds, tools, other setup components) and install the identified mold and tooling components.
- Remove mold, tooling, and other components after a complete production run, and prepare all parts for proper storage.
- Confirm machine is ready for production by performing pre‑run inspections for clearance, loose wires/water lines, alignment, etc.
- Perform all necessary part changes using established procedures and precautions.
- Identify incomplete set up, wrong tooling, or wrong mold and correct for proper production.
- Communicate mechanical issues to Management or the Maintenance Department.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift openings. Weekends & overtime as needed/required.
Work EnvironmentThis job will be performed in production, warehouse, office, and outside buildings, requiring exposure to varying weather conditions and operating in a non‑climate controlled manufacturing environment. It involves moderate to loud noise levels requiring hearing protection, work above or below ground level, and in confined spaces. The role routinely works on and around industrial equipment such as blow molding machinery, CNC machinery, motors, motor control centers, emergency generators, water coolers, air compressors, grinders, hand tools, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
PhysicalDemands
Standing, walking, bending, stooping, grip/grasping, twisting, reaching above the head, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs. Ability to use tools and other industrial equipment, and to wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
