$35-$40per hour on W2

• Primary point of contact for site operational communications requests (i.E., Security, EHS, Facilities)
• Maintenance of site intranet, including drafting, curating, editing, and posting content and updating structure and links as needed
• Produces written content in support of the internal communications strategy, including technical storytelling, organizational updates, event recaps, and people profiles
• Provides social media support, including content drafting, posting, and audience engagement
• Maintains comprehensive metrics to measure success of communications campaigns across newsletters, intranet content, and social media
• Present onsite to understand site culture and ensure message content and tone is credible and clear to a diverse audience of technical and non-technical employees
• Supports activities and operations of the larger communications team as needed

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently on tactical deliverables and incorporate strategic viewpoint
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deliverables
• Must be able to support a hybrid schedule, with ~3 days per week onsite in Niskayuna, NY

• Experience working in a corporate setting, preferably technical or manufacturing
• Ability to translate technical information for varied audiences
• Brings an action-oriented approach, with flexibility and initiative to support evolving business needs
• Familiarity with content management and newsletter distribution platforms
