Your role focuses on patient recovery and support through the Recovery Model philosophy.

This 0.5 maternity leave term position requires you to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients transitioning from acute illness to stabilization. You will work collaboratively with a treatment team to craft and adjust care plans guided by patient input while ensuring adherence to nursing ethics and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments every shift

• Develop nursing care plans with treatment team collaboration

• Implement treatment plans and provide direct nursing care

• Engage in therapeutic conversations and activities with patients

• Advocate for patients' identified needs and resources

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse license

• Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Satisfactory Criminal Record and Abuse Registry Checks

• Physically and mentally able to perform nursing duties
