Student Worker – Instrumentation Systems Technology Lab Assistant – Winnemucca – Part‑Time

Great Basin College seeks a student worker for the Instrumentation Systems Technology Lab in Winnemucca. Position is part‑time with up to 19 hours per week.

$13.00 per hour (fixed).

As a lab assistant you will assist with lab setup, maintenance of training simulators, inventory management, and support instructors with projects. The role supports the Instrumentation Systems Technology Lab’s instructional activities.

• Assist in setting up and cleaning up the lab.
• Help maintain and repair the training simulators.
• Maintain inventory tools and supplies.
• Keep the shop area clean.
• Support instructors with instructional projects.

• Must be a student of Great Basin College.
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits and maintain a 2.0 GPA.
• Must qualify for Work Study or RSP through Student Financial Services.
• Familiarity with electrical and instrumentation tools and materials.
• Basic knowledge of welding equipment and tools.
• Practice workplace and electrical safety.

$13.00 per hour.

Up to 19 hours per week with a maximum of 79.5 hours per month.
