In this crucial role, you will assist with full cycle bookkeeping and payroll functions for clients across diverse industries. Your proficiency in cloud accounting software, particularly QBO, will be essential in managing accounts payable, receivable, and maintaining GL accounts. You'll also prepare government remittances and filings, showcasing your strong understanding of financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage full cycle bookkeeping and payroll tasks
• Prepare payroll and government remittances accurately
• Assist in client file setups and budgeting processes
• Reconcile GL accounts and monitor financial transactions
• Communicate with government entities regarding assessments
Requirements:
• 1 year of full cycle bookkeeping experience
• Experience with cloud accounting software, particularly QBO
• Certificate in business administration or accounting
• Knowledge of accounting principles and sales taxes
• Familiarity with desktop bookkeeping software is a plus
