Position: Winnipeg General Accountant Opportunity
Join a dynamic team as a General Accountant in Winnipeg with Lambert Nemec Group. This full-time position focuses on autonomy and key accounting responsibilities like account reconciliations and journal entries.

Lambert Nemec Group is collaborating with a client in Winnipeg to find a capable General Accountant. In this role, you will report directly to the Controller and handle various full cycle accounting tasks. Your ability to manage time effectively and communicate clearly will support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage accounts within the accounting system

• Execute daily bank reconciliations for various accounts

• Handle monthly reconciliations and general ledger accounting

• Create and review general journal entries

• Collaborate with the Controller on financial statement preparation

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in full cycle accounting

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in relevant field

• Experienced with ERP systems like Dynamics-Great Plains or Acc Pac

• Strong multi-tasking and time management abilities

• Excellent communication skills are essential
