Post-Award Grant Accounting Expert

Reporting under the Grants Accounting Manager, you will apply your knowledge of accounting principles to perform a variety of intermediate functions related to grant management. You will analyze transactions, prepare financial reports, and monitor compliance with internal controls and university policies, supporting staff in their grant management responsibilities.

• Perform accounting functions for federal and internal grant awards
• Analyze financial information for discrepancies and solutions
• Prepare cash drawdown reports and reconciliations
• Support external audits and suggest process improvements
• Maintain accurate records and assist faculty with grant guidance

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
• At least one year of accounting experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Solid ability to communicate and collaborate with diverse groups
• Commitment to advancing equity and inclusion principles in the workplace
