In this full-time, permanent position, you will manage audit teams and participate in consulting assignments while identifying new service opportunities. Suitable candidates will have a CPA, CA designation and at least five years of public accounting experience, including 3-5 years focused on assurance. This role also emphasizes mentoring teams and building trusted advisor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage audits for diverse clients
• Supervise and develop accounting professionals
• Participate in consulting and special assignments
• Complete corporate and personal tax returns
• Conduct regular performance reviews of staff
Requirements:
• CPA, CA designation with 5 years public accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Auditing Standards
• Experience with tax returns preparation and supervising teams
• Proficiency in Caseware, Sage, and Quick Books
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
