Position: Full-Time Accountant for US Operations

This position demands a Senior Accountant skilled in analytical problem solving and independence. The successful candidate will utilize strong understanding of general ledger accounting and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. You will work to ensure accurate financial reporting and develop enhanced internal controls while collaborating with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly journal entries, including accruals and allocations

• Complete bank reconciliations and cash account analysis

• Reconcile corporate credit card transactions accurately

• Maintain fixed asset records and prepare depreciation schedules

• Analyze account balances for unusual trends and variances

Requirements:

• CPA designation preferred or equivalent accounting experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience is an asset

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
