Senior Accountant in Financial Operations

Lionsgate Canada seeks a detail-oriented Senior Accountant, specialized in Content Finance. Engage in quarterly financial reporting while managing crucial film accounting tasks.

This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Finance. Your skills will contribute to the maintenance of investment records, ensuring compliance, and performing thorough reconciliations of financial data. You will be key to supporting various teams and ensuring accuracy in accounting processes.

• Manage participations and royalty accrual models
• Assist in preparing film accounting models for quarter-end
• Conduct variance analysis of financial forecasts
• Reconcile P&L and balance sheet accounts
• Support month-end close tasks and report preparation

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA preferred
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and reporting
• Advanced skills in Excel; SAP experience is an advantage
• Strong work ethic with meticulous attention to detail
