Teck seeks a Senior Accountant specializing in ERP systems in Vancouver’s hybrid work environment. Collaborate on the SAP S/4

HANA implementation to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Full Cycle Accounting team, focusing on validating system configurations and aligning them with the operational needs of Red Dog Mine. This nuanced role requires both leadership in safety practices and technical expertise in finance and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead safety adherence throughout accounting activities

• Confirm SAP functionality aligns with management requirements

• Identify critical gaps needing resolution

• Migrate and validate financial data in SAP

• Document workflows for management accounting in SAP

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance or equivalent

• 5-8 years of related experience in mining

• Proficient in ERP, especially SAP S/4

HANA

• Excellent communication and analytical abilities

• Capable of working independently in fast-paced settings
