Grant Management Accountant

Position: University of the Pacific Grant Management Accountant
Elevate your career at the University of the Pacific as a Grant Management Accountant. This role focuses on ensuring financial integrity in grant oversight and accurate reporting.

Reporting to the Grants Accounting Manager, you'll utilize your accounting knowledge to monitor and manage grants, preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with internal controls. You will work alongside staff to facilitate improved grant management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute accounting procedures for federal and internal grants

• Investigate financial discrepancies and propose solutions

• Create cash drawdown reports and complete reconciliations

• Assist during external audits and recommend process enhancements

• Maintain accurate documentation and support faculty in grant needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar field

• Minimum one year of accounting experience

• Familiarity with relevant software including Microsoft Office

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

• Dedication to promoting equity and inclusion
