This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional support to clients and requires a strong background in full cycle bookkeeping and payroll management. Engaging with cloud accounting software like QBO and Xero, you’ll handle everything from accounts payable to payroll remittances. Your contributions will help clients navigate the evolving landscape of business and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with full cycle bookkeeping and payroll functions
• Prepare and maintain payroll and related filings
• Set up client files and assist with budgets
• Reconcile GL accounts and monitor cash transactions
• Communicate with government regarding requests
Requirements:
• 1 year of full cycle bookkeeping experience
• Experience with QBO;
Xero is a plus
• Certificate in business administration or accounting considered an asset
• Knowledge of sales and payroll taxes
• Familiarity with accounting principles and software
