Position: Post-Award Accounting Specialist at University of the Pacific

As part of the Grants Accounting team, you'll work under the Grants Accounting Manager and use your skills to perform essential intermediate accounting tasks related to grants.

Your role will involve analyzing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with controls while supporting university staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out accounting tasks for various grant awards

• Analyze financial data for inconsistencies and solutions

• Prepare detailed cash drawdown reports and reconciliations

• Assist with external audits and suggest process improvements

• Maintain comprehensive records while aiding faculty

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field

• One year of accounting experience required

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software

• Strong ability to communicate with diverse teams
