Financial Controller

I am looking for a financial controller for a manufacturing company in Saint-Jérôme. Oversee all accounting and financial operations for the company and its subsidiary.

• Manage the full accounting cycle, cost of goods sold, and inventory tracking.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
• Monitor cash flow, foreign currency flows, and banking relationships.
• Ensure tax compliance (Canada and the United States) and regulatory obligations.
• Manage accounts receivable and collections.
• Supervise, train, and motivate the accounting team.
• Advise management on financial performance and strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with external auditors and financial partners (banks, insurance companies).
• Perform all other related duties.

• CPA certification required.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Solid knowledge of Canadian and U.S. tax regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems and the Office 365 suite.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize.
• Inspiring leadership and the ability to manage a team.
• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written, to communicate with English-speaking suppliers.
• Ability to thrive in an agile and evolving manufacturing setting.
• Experience in a family-owned business (a significant asset).
