As a Controller, you'll oversee all accounting functions and financial reporting according to GAAP standards. Collaborating closely with colleagues, you will facilitate audit preparations, review journal entries, and ensure the general ledger is meticulously maintained. This role requires a balance of analytical thinking and effective communication as you engage in both internal and external audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure financial reporting meets GAAP requirements

• Examine accounting records for compliance and accuracy

• Participate in audit preparations with internal teams

• Assist in maintaining accurate general ledger accounts

• Approve monthly reconciliations and journal entries

Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in Canada

• Actively pursuing professional accounting designation

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Knowledge of SOX and audit practices beneficial

• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
