Financial Analyst

Position: Financial Analyst at NFI Group
Become a key player in financial accuracy with NFI Group as a Financial Analyst. This role focuses on ensuring precise reporting and supports standardized accounting processes in a hybrid environment.

Reporting to the Accounting Transactions Team Supervisor, this Financial Analyst position is vital for the Internal Group Accounting team. You will assist in meeting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end deadlines while maintaining high accuracy in general ledger accounts. You will also collaborate on implementing standardized accounting policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform journal entries and monthly accounting tasks

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and analyses

• Maintain general ledger with accuracy

• Collaborate to ensure reporting deadlines are met

• Assist with audit requests from internal and external parties

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Business or Accounting

• 1-2 years of experience in finance/accounting

• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards

• Strong MS Excel skills and analytical abilities

• Current enrolment in professional accounting designation is an asset
