Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant at People Corporation
Elevate your accounting career as a Senior Accountant with People Corporation. This role involves full-cycle accounting and month-end close activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.

People Corporation seeks a Senior Accountant to oversee operational accounting for select units. You will collaborate with the accounting team to post transactional batches, prepare journal entries, and ensure compliance with policies. Your focus will be on maintaining financial data integrity and supporting audit processes while driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close activities for operational units

• Collaborate in posting transactions and preparing journal entries

• Maintain internal controls for safeguarding assets

• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and policies

• Support external audit with documentation and analysis

Requirements:

• CPA designation or in progress, preferred experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience

• Solid knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Workday

• Strong analytical skills for financial data interpretation

• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel
