Position: Intermediate Financial Reporting Associate at BDO
Join the Financial Reporting & Insights team at BDO in Markham or Oakville as an Intermediate Associate. This role centers on managing tax returns and delivering client-focused insights.

BDO is looking for an experienced Intermediate Associate to assist with preparation of compilation engagements, tax returns, and effective communication with clients. With a minimum of 2 years in public accounting, you will leverage your analytical skills to identify and resolve complex accounting matters. Engagement with junior staff and business development will also be key parts of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage preparation of year-end working papers and statements

• Review and prepare various types of tax returns

• Maintain strong client relationships through direct interaction

• Address accounting and bookkeeping issues proactively

• Mentor and train junior associates in their development

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant public accounting experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

• Capable of managing deadlines in high-pressure environments

• Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
