Position: Bookkeeping Technician for Financial Services
Join the Financial Services team as a Bookkeeping Technician and maintain accurate financial records with both manual and computerized systems. This role encompasses a variety of bookkeeping, payroll, and tax responsibilities.

In this position, you will be essential in keeping financial records, balancing accounts, and preparing trial balances and financial statements. Your expertise in posting journal entries and reconciling accounts will be pivotal in ensuring financial accuracy. Additionally, you will prepare cheques for payrolls, bills, and various government forms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and balance financial records with accounting systems

• Post journal entries and reconcile financial accounts

• Prepare financial statements and trial balances

• Calculate payroll and other cheque payments

• Handle tax remittance and personal bookkeeping

Requirements:

• Proficiency in computerized bookkeeping systems

• Experience with payroll preparation and government submissions

• Knowledge of preparing financial reports

• Ability to examine and analyze accounting records

• Familiarity with tax return preparations
