Senior Finance Manager

Position: Senior Finance Manager at Lions Housing Centres
Lions Housing Centres Inc. is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to lead their accounting operations and ensure financial accuracy. This role demands strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail in a not-for-profit environment.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the full cycle of accounting functions, including financial reporting, account reconciliations, and compliance management. Collaborating with the Executive Director and finance team, you will drive sound financial decision-making while maintaining integrity in financial records. Your leadership will guide finance staff, and your organizational skills will enhance operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and general ledger maintenance

• Prepare comprehensive financial statements and working papers

• Ensure compliance with government remittances and reporting requirements

• Coordinate year-end audit activities and liaise with external auditors

• Monitor cash flow and support financial planning initiatives

Requirements:

• CPA designation or progression towards it

• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience

• Proficiency in Great Plains and Quick Books Online

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience in a multi-entity, not-for-profit setting
