Financial Analyst at Air

Elevate financial governance as Air Canada's Financial Analyst. Focus on precise reporting, consolidation, and compliance for Aeroplan and enhance internal controls for effective decision-making.

In this critical role, reporting to the Partner of Corporate Reporting, you'll be responsible for accurate financial statements and timely reporting for Aeroplan, aligning with IFRS standards. Your expertise will be vital in managing intercompany transactions while ensuring strict adherence to shareholder agreements and corporate policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce financial statements aligned with IFRS standards

• Coordinate Aeroplan's year-end close and audit processes

• Prepare management reports with key performance metrics

• Oversee intercompany accounting and compliance matters

• Compile cash flow reports and monitor distributions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting required

• CPA designation or in progress

• 3-5 years of accounting experience

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Excel and SAP is a plus
