As part of a national industry association, the Senior Accountant role at Cereals Canada offers both independence and teamwork. You will report directly to the VP of Finance & Business Management and handle diverse accounting functions. Your expertise will ensure accurate financial records and support the budgeting and reporting processes among various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounts payable and receivable processes

• Prepare detailed financial reports and analysis

• Manage biweekly payroll, including adjustments and deductions

• Facilitate the annual budget coordination with management

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in accounting or finance

• CPA designation preferred with significant accounting experience

• Proficient in Excel and accounting software, particularly Sage

• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
